Bravo to the group of women who recently attended the Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP). Dr. Roshani Silwal also attended the event held at Clemson University. Two of the students, Sierra Focazio and Barbara Zboichyk, presented a poster on "Development of a Ruby Laser for Instruction and Demonstration". Barbara also recieved an OSR-Travel grant which helped cover some of her travel expense. The ladies all had a great time and came back with a renewed excitement for the future of a womans role in physics. Also pictured here are Emma Ingram, Sophie Hoffmann, and Jayne Hinson.
