Dr. James Sherman proposal, “Development of an automated air stream dryer system for atmospheric aerosol and cloud research at Appalachian State’s AppalAir facilities" was funded by the Harkrader Family Foundation Faculty Research Awards program, to pay for equipment for a student research project. His lab also received a GRAM award providing $14,000 in funding, to be used as a stipend to support one full-time graduate research assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year.
